Medical Coverage for international students studying in Strathmore University, Kenya, is available to all students who have met the university admission criteria and qualify for the Kenyan student pass/visa award.The university, in conjunction with Jubilee insurance group, is offering the international students an in-patient medical coverfor up to 500,000 Kenya shillings per annum.The cover will also include pre-existing medical conditions but more details on the arrangement can be communicated upon request or through the fliers available at our desks and in soft copy. Enrollment.

Simply fill out the Jubilee Health Insurance application forms available at our website downloads page or at the University International students office then pay the subscription fees of KES 12,599 through the paybill on the insurance write up that is downloadable here.

The Kenya Revenue Authority Personal Identification Number (KRA PIN).

This is a unique identifier used by individuals and businesses for filing taxes, interacting with government agencies, and accessing certain services in Kenya.

Requirements as Resident.

Valid Permit holders are considered residents.

  • Alien ID Card details
  • Business registration certificate details for those in business.

Students

  • Original and copy of Valid Passport.
  • Endorsement of student pass in the passport.
  • Original and copy of valid student pass.
  • Original and copy of Letter of introduction/Admission from institution as per the student pass.
  • KRA PIN application acknowledgement receipt.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible to open a student bank account through our partner banks, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be Legally in the country!.
  • Be a duly admitted student at Strathmore University in possession of a Valid University Admission Letter.
  • Have a valid student permit/pass or have applied for one with the immigration authorities and have a proof of application.
  • Be a holder of a valid passport that will remain active/valid for at least six months from the date of application for an account.
